In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, Faith Community Presbyterian Church has temporarily postponed all meetings, services and congregational activities. This does NOT include our Food Bank Program, or our participation in the Soup Kitchen outreach, or the regular meetings of AA in our building.

We obviously regret the necessity of taking this step, but feel it is part of our duty as responsible citizens and conscientious Christians. For updated information, please check this website or our Facebook page.

The Food Bank continues its work through this pandemic, and your donations are always needed and welcomed (see map below). There is a red donation bin in the front of the church that is emptied daily, or contact to arrange a time to be met at the church. Please view the list of items (updated as needs change).

2020 Crop Walk

Help CROP Stop Hunger!

https://www.crophungerwalk.org/novimi?utm_term=join%20the%20Walk%20online

Despite the pandemic canceling many events, suffering from hunger for many persists.  So, the 33rd Annual Novi-Northville CROP Hunger Walk will still take place on Sunday, October 4, 2020.  Like many organizations who fund raise with walking events, this year’s CROP Hunger Walk will be virtual.  This event joins churches in our community to raise money for the hunger relief efforts of Church World Service, the mission arm of the National Council of Churches.  We will NOT be gathering together for this year’s Walk, and, instead, are encouraging individuals and families to take the time to walk at a time and for a distance that is convenient and to partner with sponsors willing to donate in support of ending hunger.  Walk in solidarity with our sisters and brothers around the world who walk everyday for food and water.    Last year, our Walk raised $12,000 for hunger relief programs around the world.  Twenty-five percent of those funds stayed in our community to support Northville Civic Concern, Redford Interfaith Relief Agency, the Novi Emergency Food Program and Everyone Eats Soup Kitchen in Detroit.  We are in the process of creating a website link for signing up as a walker and for sponsors to donate- stay tuned.  Please contact Tom Anan at 248-207-4106 for more information.  Please continue to pray for those suffering from hunger in our world and the work of CWS.
